Our rights

Alderley Watches reserves the right to modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this Website (or any part thereof) with or without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the Website; and/or change the Conditions from time to time, and your continued use of the Website (or any part thereof) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such a change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether these Conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any change to the Conditions then you must stop using the Website.

Description and price of the goods

Alderley Watches attempts to be as accurate as reasonably possible, but does not warrant that product descriptions or other contents of this site are accurate, complete or error-free. Products shown are not to actual size and due to the variations of computer displays the image displayed on your screen could show a different shade of colour compared to the physical item. In the unlikely event that a product offered by Alderley Watches is not as described, your sole remedy is to promptly return it in unused and untouched condition for a refund.

The goods are subject to availability. If on receipt of your order the goods you have ordered are not available in stock, Alderley Watches will inform you as soon as possible and refund or credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods.

Every effort is made to ensure that prices shown on this website are accurate at the time you place your order. Should there be an error, Alderley Watches will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price, or cancelling your order.

Payment

You can pay us in any of 4 ways:
PayPal - easy & safe for all UK & International customers. However we will only dispatch to a Paypal Confirmed address.
Cheque / Postal Order / Bank Wire If you wish to pay by one of these methods please contact us within 48 hours for details on how to pay by one of these methods. Goods will only be dispatched once the payment has cleared.
We do appreciate prompt payments - but we also understand that for some, sometimes pay day is a while away and you have seen the watch of your dreams but there is only 1 in stock and you are sure it will be sold before you can pay. Do not worry, just contact us and let us know your situation - and we will do all we can to accommodate a delayed payment.
Goods are the property of Alderley Watches until full cleared payment has been received including with any delivery charges.

Please note their may be additional delivery charges for international orders, you will receive an invoice from Alderley Watches for any difference in international postal costs.

There will be no dispatch of goods until cleared funds are received.

Delivery

Alderley Watches is delighted to dispatch anywhere in the world. In the UK we usually dispatch via Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery. Our cost of Post & Packaging usually varies depending on the value of the item, to incorporate the appropriate level of insurance.
All our shipping methods include insurance for your peace of mind, and all items that we send out REQUIRE A SIGNATURE on delivery and we therefore cannot deliver to P.O.Boxes. Tracking numbers can be sent to the customer once the product is shipped. Online tracking for UK & Northern Ireland customers available at www.royalmail.com

Every effort will be made to deliver the goods as soon as possible after your order has been accepted. However, Alderley Watches will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery.

When your order arrives you must check for damages and or shortages. Claims for damages and or shortages have to be made within 7 days of receipt of your delivery.


Cancellation and Returns Policy

You have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to the end of 7 working days after you receive the goods, providing the goods have not been modified in any way and providing they are returned with the original packaging and providing the goods are in a resalable condition.
 
Please make sure to inspect your watch to see that it is in perfect working order before wearing or removing any tags or factory tape. Once a watch has had its tags removed or has been worn or sized we cannot accept a return. If, after wearing or sizing your watch, you notice that there is a mechanical problem, we will do our best to repair it under our warranty. We cannot accept the return of any watch that has been worn or sized under the premise that it was received that way. It is the buyer's responsibility to inspect the watch upon receipt to ensure that it is in perfect working order, before wearing.

If you exercise your right of cancellation after the goods have been dispatched, you will be responsible for returning the goods to us at your own cost. The goods must be returned to the address shown below. You must take reasonable care to ensure the goods are not damaged in the meantime or in transit.

In cases when the return is a result of an error made on our part (and only in those cases), we will refund the item's price & the full shipping costs. If the item you have received is faulty or incorrect, please email us in order to arrange a quick replacement. Please ensure you send the parcel using any traceable method, the items are your responsibility until they arrive at our returns department.

Warranty

Due to the fact that we are not authorised dealers of any of the watches on offer we are not restricted by manufacturers' set Recommended Retail Prices and therefore generally do not supply the manufacturer warranty. In some circumstances Alderley Watches are able to provide a Worldwide authorised dealer warranty card, in which case the watch will be covered by the manufacturers stated warranty. Where the manufacturer warranty is not supplied we offer our own comprehensive 2 year warranty which is reflective of a typical manufacturer warranty.

We will, within the warranty period, repair the movement of this timepiece free of charge if such movement proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use. The timepiece must be in our possession prior to warranty expiration regardless of the date the defect occurred. The warranty does not cover damages caused by impact, vibrations, magnetic fields, or batteries; nor does it cover straps, bracelets, buckles, finishes, cases, dials, hands, crowns, buttons or crystals. It also does not cover damage or defects arising from normal wear; nor does it cover overhauls, maintenance, scratches, accidents, misuse or return shipping. Any alterations, service, or repair performed by any party other than Alderley Watches will deem the warranty null and void. Automatic watches are less precise movements than quartz watches. Both watches will need overhauls if not keeping time within predefined parameters. Calibration of watches, before the watch is due for an overhaul, may be needed on some timepieces. Damages caused to a timepiece arising from water or moisture, are not covered under the warranty. Warranties are not transferrable. Opening the back casing of the watch by uncertified watchmakers voids all warranties. We do not reimburse for any convenience fees or charges on work performed by parties other than Alderley Watches Warranty service will not be performed without the return of valid Warranty Certificate along with the timepiece.

Please make sure to inspect your watch to see that it is in perfect working order before wearing or removing any tags or factory tape. All our watches are 100% brand new and should keep accurate time. Once a watch has had its tags removed or has been worn or sized we can only repair the watch if needed and send it back to you. However, we cannot accept it as a return for a refund. Improper repair or warranty service performed by someone other than Alderley Watches will void this warranty.

Limitation of Liability

Alderley Watches total liability in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty), misrepresentation, and restitution or otherwise, arising in connection with the performance or contemplated performance of this agreement shall be limited to the price paid for the goods.

Data Protection

Alderley Watches will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure but unless Alderley Watches is negligent, we will not be liable for unauthorized access to information supplied by you.

Applicable Law

These terms of sale and the supply of the goods will be subject to English law and the English courts will have jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising from the contract.
